What If Kenny Powers Could Pick the Kennedy Center Honorees?
Well, now we know
For anybody who doesn’t know, Kenny Powers is the racist, sexist, beer-bellied, mulletted, has-been baseball star of the show Eastbound and Down, a man perpetually trying to recapture his lost, coke-addled youth.
Today, President Trump answered the question, “What if Kenny Powers could select the 2025 Kennedy Center honorees?”
Are you ready?
The honorees this year are country legend George Strait, Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone, rock band KISS, English actor Michael Crawford and iconic singer Gloria Gaynor, known for her hits, including “I Will Surive” [sic] and “The Eye of the Tiger.” — Fox News
It’s funny that Fox felt the need to provide a link for Sylvester Stallone, but assumed everybody knows who Michael Crawford is.
Personally, I couldn’t pick Michael Crawford out of a lineup. I think he was in the musical, Phantom of the Opera?
I’m not going to Google it because I like a little mystery in my life.
