This Is My New Favorite Bread
Now that I’m a Top Writer in food (no, I’m not kidding. I can only assume the bar for that particular accolade is really, really low), I feel like I should post weekly reviews of, you know, food.
I had to take the photo of this week’s victim… I mean, subject, because it’s so new I can’t even find a picture of it online.
How can that be??
Maybe I live in a test market and I’m a human lab rat for Nickles’ new Swiss Artisan Bread.
I have no problem with that. Test away, baby.
Because I am every product’s dream consumer. If it has “NEW” or “LIMITED EDITION” stamped on it, I can barely get to the register fast enough. If anybody out there needs somebody to be on a focus panel, please, I’m begging you, pick me.
Impulse Purchase is my middle name.
Especially bread. I am a bread addict. And I have very particular demands when it comes to my favorites.
When I worked in Akron, there was a bakery nearby that I visited every week like the bread junkie I am.
“Psssst. Have you got the stuff? Oh, man, the Country Round. Come to mama.”
Now I work in some kind of bakery wasteland where the only thing that’s taken hold is…
