The Hidden Perks Of Working In An Office
Please buy my paperclip earrings on Etsy, coupon code JUMBO
Everybody complains about working in an office, but where else are you going to find an unlimited supply of Post-it® Notes?
Literally no one has personally bought a package of Post-it® Notes since 1983.They’re only purchased in bulk by office managers and then transported home in people’s pockets like illegal immigrants crossing the US-Mexico border.
Same thing with paper clips. Nobody buys paperclips. They just magically appear. You can even watch them breed since they’re always
in flagrante delicto just when you really need one and it takes five minutes to get them apart.
I just want to fasten two pieces of paper together — but first, I need to solve this Chinese metal jigsaw puzzle.
Like Bitcoin, there are only 18,925,137 paperclips in existence and we’ve been trading them back and forth amongst ourselves since their invention in 1899 by Johann “Timmy” Vaaler.
Paperclips are sometimes unfolded and lost forever. How else are you going to pick locks, unfasten handcuffs, or reset your cell phone?
