BEV RESPONDS TO A WRITING PROMPT
Six YEARS Is Too Soon To Marry Somebody
Let alone six months.
As with most things in life, I’m not really sure why I’m doing this, other than because I basically do whatever Roz Warren, Writing Coach does (except fly in an airplane).
And Roz posted one of her usual fascinating articles in response to a prompt invented by Izzibella Beau (find it here).
So I’m going to do it, too.
1.) What movie never fails to make you cry?
Keeping in mind that I sobbed like a baby over the last episode of Fringe, this is an impossible question. It all started with Old Yeller and went south from there, so I’m going to say a movie would have to involve an animal.
And so the obvious answer is Babe.
That’ll do, pig. That’ll do.
2.) Who would you trust to help you bury a body?
This is where so many murderers go wrong. I’ve been a legal secretary for 30 years and I know all too well that you can’t trust anybody (not even your mother, as Lou Reed sings in the brilliant Last Great American Whale).
So the key is to find somebody to help you do the digging and the heavy lifting, and then you have to kill them too. Duh.
