Relationship Red Flags You May Not Recognize
From friends, to lovers, to employers — the warning signs are all there.
Everybody know relationship red flags like not returning calls or never picking up the bill when you go out to eat.
But there are so many more that I’ve skated right past throughout my life when I should have been applying the brakes. Hard.
For example, this cake.
This cake has been sitting on our microwave at work for the last two weeks.
It has whipped cream frosting and — needless to say — it should have been refrigerated this entire time.
But no. It’s my boss’s birthday cake and he won’t let me throw it away. He’s actually been eating it, and somehow, he’s still alive.
When it grows legs and walks away, I suppose that problem will be solved.
They don’t consider other people’s convenience.
The only place we have at work to make our lunch or do food prep is a tiny, tiny sink area, and the top of this microwave.
