My Rich Friend Told Me To Invest In Crypto and I Lost Everything

That’s not entirely true. I frantically dumped it all last week and got $168 of my $1,000 back.

My rich friend invested heavily in XRP and raved on and on about his rate of return and how he’d bought his mom a house or something.

When people tell me about good things happening to them, I just stop listening.

I mean, I probably stepped on a snake in my kitchen this morning with my bare foot, but sure, tell me all about how great things are for you.

My rich friend (or MRF, for brevity’s sake) said he’d buy all of my shares of XRP any time. Of course, I hung on too long and then everything went south and there was nowhere to go but out.

I just looked at my IRA and I’ve lost all of the money I put into it last year. I was trying to save $1,000 in taxes that I owed for 2021 (thanks to my writing — this is called “irony”) and I lost $4,000 cash in the process.

I haven’t even gotten to the ranting part yet.

So MRF is an attorney (needless to say) and he loves to go on cruises. So that’s what he does. He “works” three weeks out of every month and cruises for one.
