It’s A Good Day To Examine My Prejudices
In which I finally meet my neighbor under horrible circumstances.
I’m a little more traumatized right now than I normally am, so let’s talk about it.

I had just returned from my quest for the Holy Microwave and was unloading my things from my truck, when I heard the deafening thud and crunch of a vehicle going 50 miles per hour hitting another vehicle going 5 miles per hour and slamming into the utility pole in my neighbor’s front yard.
I’ve heard this sound lots of time because I live one house down from an extremely dangerous intersection that the Ohio Department of Transportation is apparently never going to do anything about.
There was another accident barely three weeks ago, not to mention the one last summer that took out my telephone, my electric, and my entire front yard.
The accident today dug two fresh trenches through my barely healed grass. I’m clearly not meant to have a lawn.
And nobody cares because ‘Murica. Nobody thinks they’re paid enough to care.
