I’m Tired

I’m tired of being surrounded by people I don’t like.

I’m tired of not being cared about.

I’m tired of caring about everybody else.

I’m tired of being in pain.

I’m tired of worrying about what happened.

I’m tired of worrying about what hasn’t happened yet.

I’m tired of not being able to find my car in the parking lot.

I’m tired of listicles.

I’m tired of new words.

I’m tired of currying favor with strangers in an imaginary space.

I’m tired of watching what I say.

I’m tired of thinking about everything I eat.

I’m tired of thinking about my impact on others.

I’m tired of everything getting worse when I don’t know what the baseline was to begin with.

I’m tired of people not understanding that being a Boy Scout is an outdated, homoerotic, fascist ideal.

I’m tired of everybody’s obsession with cheese.

I’m tired of politics.

I’m tired of walking my dog.

I’m tired of always being ready to defend myself.

I’m tired of cleaning.

I’m tired of tags.

I’m tired of comparing what I have to what others have.

I’m tired of screens.

I’m tired of people acting like generations are different species of humans.

I’m tired of poverty and our inability as a society to allocate resources.

I’m tired of having nothing to look forward to.

I’m tired of every day being the same.

What a waste of time it all is.
