I was just reading about the textile dump in the Atacama Desert (again) and I'm always freshly horrified. I used to be a judge's secretary and I had the suits and the heels and on and on. Now I'm convincing myself that I, literally, never need to buy clothes again. The only massive fashion change in the last 50 years was shoulder pads. And like you said, as long as it's new to me, I'm thrilled to take used clothing. PLUS, it's not still covered in chemicals from production.
