I think the company, like Verizon, has your contacts saved to the cloud. That’s how, when you get a new phone, it just magically all shows up on the new phone. I think all your pictures too (hopefully—I can never remember if my pictures transfer over). So even if your phone was smooshed, you could still access all that on a new phone. I think. Pretty sure.
