Hersh is reactive, hates men, hates dogs. She’s in a Joyride harness which has a handle. I pick her up (37 lbs) if we encounter a problem and she calms down if her feet aren’t touching the ground. Joyride also sells a leather lead with a second loop. The second loop keeps the dog on a short, more controllable leash to prevent the zigzagging, shoulder dislocation etc. All learned the hard way. She’s only snapped at one attorney’s face, but I don’t like him that much anyway.
